Night of magic with Imagine Dragons!!
First off, the venue, Sunset Cove Amphitheater, was perfect. It was as if we invited a thousand friends for an intimate backyard barbeque and our special guest was none other than Morat. WOW!!! I decided to surprise my 11yr old with tickets to her favorite band and in turn had the night of my life! The opening bands X Ambassadors and Paper Route were unknown to me, but were killer and I'm sure they just turned on 1000 new fans that night, all building up to the main event. And then came the stars...The lights and music slowly began to raise at the genesis of the most amazing concert vibe. I've seen some of the greatest bands perform in my 46yrs on this planet, but what I realized as Dan Reynolds vocal genius began to sweetly sing across the sky, was that my daughter and I were watching history in the making. Can you imagine being there for the start of Elvis or The Beatles debut concerts? Known to some but soon to be a legendary band like Cold Play. I know, deep thoughts, but true. Between the extraordinary light show timed perfectly to the energy of the band and the beautiful melodic voice of Dan Reynolds, who drew you into his soul like a private lullaby to a baby, we all experienced one mind that night. We all witnessed something only few get to experience. I suggest you toss out whatever phone you have now and go invest in one of the best recording smart phones you can get your hands on. Your poor little phone will thank you as it records the radiating boom of the massive drum penetrating our souls with "Radioactive" spilling through the night air! If you were on the fence on whether you should get the tickets to see Morat, I suggest you jump off and RUN RUN RUN to get them, even if you've managed to snag those jeans on the fence and ripped them off doing so!!!
